#69: Love Your Own Self (Tyler R.)

Dear Ty,

Hey beautiful black girl! I hope you're being all you can be, discovering yourself. I just really, honestly and truly want you to know that you are great in every way possible. I want you to know that you are LOVED!!! Even if people have left in the past, know that it's not your fault! Nothing you have done caused their absence. Nothing is wrong with you. You are special in every way, shape and form. Even if you were bullied for your body and for not looking like the majority of your friends, nothing is wrong with you. Coming from your family background, seeing the different sizes, whether it be big or small, love your curves, love the way you were made. You were fearfully and wonderfully made by God in His image. He most definitely showed out. You come from black royalty. Don't question why you don't look this way or that way. Your black is so beautiful. Never look for anyone's approval, especially a boy's just because your father wasn't there for your early years. Don't search for approval at all from no man. Love your own self babygirl, because you are definitely one of a kind and let no one tell you any other way.

Once again, you are loved and you are beautiful just the way God made you!

Love,
Tyler
