Dear Me,

You had a weird year, full of fun and love and tears.
Be grateful for your mother, your family and your friends.
Be thankful that he loved you the way he did... immensely.
Be thankful that you found the courage to realize your own truth.
Grieve the loss and cry for the dead. The ones who left for a better place.

Learn to live your own life. The one you want. Build the life you dream of.
Baby steps for now. Later maybe giant strides.
Work, and get things done
Make a thousand more mistakes
And learn millions of lessons.
Hold dear the ones who guide you,
Through the treacherous paths
That wind and turn at each point of life.

Go out, stay in, read a book
Or burn down the dance floor.
Be happy and be sad
And be loving and sometimes, be bitter.
Laugh and smile
And have amazing sex.

I love you...or better...I love myself.
And that is enough.

Keep slaying,
Always and forever,

Me.
