#10: Stop Apologizing To Me (Margaret S.)

Hi Sitawa,

I don't know how I can show you every single day how much you mean to me but I can try and express it in these words. Bear in mind, they are nowhere near to how much love I feel for you. You are amazing and beautiful in so many ways and I appreciate you from the bottom of my heart. I want you to know that this has been you from the very beginning and you should stop apologizing to me. I love you the way you are and I would not want you to change in any way. The way you grow, the strides you make are what bring you closer every day to who you truly are. Wherever you are right now ,don't be sorry, whatever it is you want to have or achieve it is already yours. All you need to do us access it. Everything is in your hands.

I want you to remember that you need to let go,let go of that past and I mean even two seconds ago. Letting go is the only true way to love yourself unconditionally. Also, remember that you are in control of your feelings, they are your responsibility. I'm going to allow you only five minutes for sadness and grief, only five, then enjoy the rest of the day. Your mind, your imaginations are your fortress and no one else has power over them, so be take great care of them because they are key in all you need yo accomplish. Fill them with all good things and spread that knowledge too.

Everyone else is your neighbor and your responsibility too. Remember your body is only your home, not who you are, so however your neighbor looks and your perception of that look is not who they are. Your body does not make it superior or inferior to anyone else, it's where you live so whatever you think about it, it does not determine your worth.

Continue learning new things. I love you.

Love,
Sitawa

ps: you stop complaining about your hair, as hard as it is,that line is getting too old.
